The FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority) is South Africa’s regulator to the financial services industry. It was previously known as the FSB (Financial Services Board). It became the FSCA on April 1, 2018 with an extended mandate.

The FSCA prohibits anyone without FSP (Financial Services Provider) licence (issued by the FSCA) to offer insurance.
